RE: We have stayed in her for 2 days now...

I tell my friends that I'm "roughing it", because I don't have surround sound in our bedroom. Travel safely and have fun.

RE: Top ten reasons you still go RVing despite the price of fuel

Because motel/hotel rooms don't come with fire rings.

RE: RV Maneuvering

Your experience is why I'm outside and watching when my campsite neighbor is arriving and leaving. Especially, when they are not using a spotter. Better to be safe than sorry. Travel safely and have fun.

RE: MWH Hydraulic leveling question

No crabby folks? Just wait. They'll poke their heads up sooner or later. Wish I could be of help but I'm not mechanically inclined. I do creative maintenance. LOL. Take care and travel safely.

RE: Gas prices have taken the magic away......

Look at the bright side. A $12,000 discount gives you 3,000 gallons of fuel at $4.00 a gallon or 24,000 miles at 8 mpg.

RE: Yellowstone East entrance

Both routes are scenic and doable. Just don't be in a hurry and enjoy the ride. I prefer the campgrounds on 16 with Tie Hack being one of my favorites. The drive from Cody to Yellowstone is one of the prettiest I even taken. Have Fun and travel safely.

Grey's River Road

Does anyone have any recommendations on camping along Grey's River Road outside Alpine, WY? Are there sites that I can squeeze a 38' coach into? Any assistance will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

RE: WY 191 or I15 to Grand Tetons?

Take 191. You'll save miles and the scenery is awesome. You shouldn't have any problems.

RE: Camping..??..in your class A

Shhhhh...... Let's keep this our little secret. Otherwise, everybody will be wanting to do it and crowd us out.:R

RE: Cargo Bay

Full pass thru storage was a major requirement in my choice of a coach. If you just do weekends and a vacation maybe you don't need it. Travel Safely.

RE: What's the attraction to full body paint?

I didn't want to look like every other "White Box" in the campground or going down the road. Travel safely.

I'm 13'6" with the dome satellite and I wouldn't take the chance.

RE: teton and yellowstone

I've stayed at Grant Village in Yellowstone. No hookups but sites are better and allow campfires. Fishing Bridge has hookups, sites are very tight and no campfires. It's a NO-NO on unleashed fogs. Sorry. And they could end up as a meal for a coyote. I'm not kidding. Don't even leave them tied up outside unattended. Flagg Ranch, I heard good and some bad. It's right outside Yellowstone's south entrance and but I personally think Colter Bay would be a better choice. One area has hookups and might be full but the other campground is pretty big, without hookups. Make sure you get a loop that allows generators. Travel safely and have fun.

Flathead Nationa Forest, Montana

We'll be visiting Glacier National Park in August. Does anyone have any first hand experience if sites in Flathead State Park and around Hungry Horse Reservoir are large enough for a 38' motorhome? I would like info from those that have been there, done that. Thanks.

What, pray tell, has this got to do with General Rving Issues?

RE: Anyone cancelling trips due to gas prices?

For Goodness Sakes, GO! It's only money and you can't take it with you. Don't be a "Could'a, Would'a, Should'a". Whos's worth it more than you?:B But travel safely and have fun.

RE: Directory

I prefer Woodall's Campground Directory, but that's just me. You need one of them.

RE: Boondocking in small Class A?

Our Class A is 38' and ground clearance is about the only thing that limits me. With a 100 gallon fresh water tank we can stay longer than most without moving. I don't however see many other coachs where I go. Mostly TT's and 5ers. We have the generator, inverter and other amenities, why not use them. Travel safely and have fun out there.
